OCR hike tipped for next week
The Reserve Bank is tipped to raise the Official Cash Rate next week, despite lower than expected economic growth.  Westpac economists expect Reserve Bank governor Alan Bollard will hike the rate by 25 basis points to 3 per cent at next Thursday's meeting, but with a slightly more subdued statement than at the last meeting.  More.

Fed Farmers urges hold on interest rates     
The Reserve Bank should keep the official cash rate at 2.75 per cent, Federated Farmers says after its latest survey of farmer confidence showed only 2.9 per cent of farmers expected the economy to improve.  While farmers were not overly optimistic about the economy, they were slightly more upbeat about the profitability of their own farms.  More.

  Cheaper regional flights come with a catch
A scheme by Air New Zealand could save customers up to 30 per cent off regional fares but customers will have to pay $800 upfront to qualify.  The new Starfish Card will see automatic savings of 15-30 per cent off all regional airfares, including tickets bought online through grabaseat.  More.
